A premium beer with a nice hoppy taste and of medium bitterness that gives this beer good drinkability and makes it therefore very popular. A real lager which satisfies even the most demanding gourmets.

I suppose even the Czechs don't always make great beer. The aroma was the best part malti in a little hop. Color is a dark yellow amber with a small off white head and very little lace. Flavors mainly malti sweet not much hop bitter or flavor. Body is on the soft side almost going flat. Not that good of a beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Glug Newcastle. Pours dark golden colour, little head. Strong peppery flavour, faint bitterness. Enjoyable beer

Bottle - bright golden with a sparse fizzy white head which fades away to a thin ring reasonably quickly. Aroma of apples, lemon, malts and some hints of spice. Taste of malt, apples and lemon, followed by a long medium bitterness to finish and some hints of caramel. Light body, light carbonation, a little watery.

500ml bottle (Rimi, Tallinn)
Pleasant sweet caramelly aroma, but lots of noble bitter hops clear too. Nice orange, peristent tight head. Lovely rich malty body, aromatic esters, nice bitter hops, herbal to grassy. Lovely full and smooth palate, almost sweet like a marzen. Finish nicely long. Good drinkable lager, would be great fresh.

Some pub I can’t remember the name of in Altrincham. Pale yellow gold with a bright white head mostly lasting head. Light malts and hops, some sweetness mellow bitter finish. Not bad but just a bit boring.

Keg @ Free Trade Tavern, Newhey. Clear gold with a thick frothy head and a large carbonation. There’s malt in the nose and some grain in the taste but mostly ordinary.

Bottle shared in Gabrovo, Bulgaria - picked up at the local Billa. Pours clear gold with a fine, foamy white head that fades out quickly. The aroma has a bit of tangy cereal, wet hay, simple bread, touches of ripening citrus. Light sweet flavor with cheap cereal, some grainy bread, hay, vague citrus fruits. Light bodied with average carbonation. Basic finish, some sugary bread, cereal, lightly astringent grain husks, more wet hay, some dirty straw. Not a very strong showing from the CR.

Really disappointing aroma. Everything but not pils like. Wrong evening or wrong beer
