Pyrmir (6210) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - NOV 18, 2012
Bottle at ÖÖWF 2012. Earthy, musty aroma, high in bitter hops. Tastes like any other standard czechs.

omikr0n (951) - Prague, CZECH REPUBLIC - NOV 14, 2012
Bottle. Pours clear golden color with decent white head. Aroma is malt, hops, grass. Flavor is malt, hops and grass, starts sweet, then turns into a bit bitter. Interesting tingling in the aftertaste, almost like chilly peppers.

Ughsmash (7510) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 4, 2012
500mL bottle. Poured clear medium golden with a short-lived white head. The aroma picked up honey and bright, toasted grains, with lesser bready notes.. lemon zest and grassy accents. The flavor found toasted bread and honey at the core, with earth, lemon zest, and grainy notes around.. more lightly-sour lemon and grainy notes over bread on the crisp finish. Lighter-bodied with low-ish carbonation on the palate.. refreshing and nicely-balanced.

worldbeertaste (1818) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - OCT 1, 2012
Fairly cloudy yellowish orange with a thin lacy lastjng off white head. Smells of malt, grain,, lighly toasted malt, butter, light fruit and hay. Medium oily body. Sweet malty body with some butter and a light grass finish. Smooth to drink and goes grat with a meal.

Wew, took a while to find this in the database. From a brown bottle. Strong pilsner bite. Same on finsh, rather sharp pilz experience.

UPDATED: FEB 20, 2014 Accidentally bought this mediocre pils again and it is still mediocre. Second time around I notice a bunch more metallic character. I don’t think my original rating was far off though so I am just taking down Overall by a bit.

Original (Sept 2012): This is sweet and malty for a pils, I’d say. It’s a slightly cloudy orange w/ a thin white head. Malts are nutty and sugary. Hops are subdued and kind of grassy. This stuff is about OK. I am not in love w/ it.

Plovmand (8616) - Grindsted, DENMARK - SEP 1, 2012
On tap at Cafe Svejk. Pours clear yellow with a medium White head. The aroma is grassy and hoppy. The flavour is quite bitter and grassy.

bierkoning (13680) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - JUL 30, 2012
Bottle from Borresteijn, thanks! Golden color. Tangerine in the aroma. Grassy flavor with tangerine and a soft hopbitterness. Seems somewhat oxidated.

Bif (2343) - St. Charles, Missouri, USA - JUL 13, 2012
Bottle- Pours a golden color with a small head that fades to bits of lacing. Aroma of grain, mild malt sweetness and a light trace of hops. Taste has an initial bitterness with a bit of malt sweetness and slightly grainy. Bitterness continues to a fairly clean finish. Light body, crisp and somewhat refreshing. Beer seem to have a gritty texture about it. Decent beer, but sort of a middle of the road beer for the style.
