kalervo (1043) - FINLAND - AUG 13, 2012
Really good soft but still tasteful schwarzbier. Malty, mouthfilling taste.

crossovert (12934) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 19, 2012
500ml bottle. There is a nearly pitch-black porter-like pour. The head is tightly foamed ad slightly burnt in color. Nice lacing. Smell is rich decocted malt, dark fruits, and caramel. The flavor is like the Bohemian equivalent to a dark mild. Smooth, almost creamy cocoa notes with some dark fruit and a hint of earthiness. I could drink the fuck out of this all day and night.

hetyu (115) - HUNGARY - JUL 18, 2012
Bottle - Reddish deep brown in colour, no head at all. Yeasty aroma and taste. Medium bitterness with some sourish roasted yeast taste.

vyvvy (6470) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - JUL 8, 2012
Pours clear dark brown with a reddish hue and a small khaki head. The aroma has mildly roasted malt, cream, milk nuttiness, some apple and non-bitter coffee. The body is medium/light with some semi-sharp carbonation. The flavor begins with roasted malt, nuts, pear, mild sourness and cream. The finish has some spice, minerals and medicine. I got them shortly after it got to my local shop, but it seems there was some age on it before it hit the shelves for sale, but there is not dating on the bottle to be sure.

thegreenrooster (4402) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - JUN 27, 2012
Pour is a dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is a little burnt malt and some caramel. Flavor is more burnt malt with heavier than average malty backbone for a Czech dark lager. This one is better than average with enough flavor to carry it. I’m sure all the beers I’ve had from this brewer are much better fresh in Czech.

inbirraveritas (1577) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUN 25, 2012
Dark brown one with a loosy beige head. Malty nose and aroma ruled by caramel and vanilla underpainted gently by roasted malt and dried fruits. Slick, moderate oily texture. Dry and somewhat fruity finish escorted by roasted malt and grassy hops. Good.

iammarc (385) - Inverness, SCOTLAND - JUN 22, 2012
500ml bottle. Pours flat, very dark reddish brown colour. Void of any real outstanding aroma. Sweet, juniper finish. Rubbery smooth palate. Okay, but a little sickly.

tomer (3517) - Rishon Le Zion, ISRAEL - MAY 30, 2012
Bottle, small bubbly head, very deep brown colour and quite opaque, aroma of dark bread and dried fruits, same traits continue in the flavour with some hints of charred wood, quite sour in an unpleasant kvass like way. A bad schwarzbier.

kingstoni (2088) - FINLAND - APR 25, 2012
Bottle. Very dark brown with no head. Very mild aroma of liquorice and roasted malt. Sugary taste with some smokiness. Medium body.

tmrmwel (2089) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAR 1, 2012
Bottle. Pours a dark, redly brown, with a small airy head. Aroma is burned malts, with notes of syrup and some dark fruits. Flavour is a sweetly, lightly burned malt, with syrup, candi sugar and dark fruits, giving it an almost port wine-ishness. Good sweet finish.
