Dark brown one with a loosy beige head. Malty nose and aroma ruled by caramel and vanilla underpainted gently by roasted malt and dried fruits. Slick, moderate oily texture. Dry and somewhat fruity finish escorted by roasted malt and grassy hops. Good.

Dobré tmavé pivečko s jemnými tóny karamelu a sladu, jemným řízem a řidší pěnou. Dobré osvěžení :)

Piepenhenrich (1289) - Steinbach, GERMANY - SEP 1, 2017
A good Tmavy. Around good average considering the high quality of Bohemian brews.

aronbustya (1) - Szeged, HUNGARY - AUG 23, 2017 does not count
Reddish brown color. Tastes of melted/burnt sugar and malt. Sweet. Some hop bitterness and maybe a bit of coffe. Pleasant, interesting dark lager if you don’t mind the sweetness.

Lore (2991) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUN 30, 2017
dark reddish mahogany colour, around one inch dense beige-ish head; aroma of burnt plum jam, raisins, hints of dried cherries and caramel, as well as toasted bread; taste is the same with burnt sugar; good one

Mortlach (2532) - Rome, ITALY - MAY 12, 2017
On tap @Mad for Beer (Rome). Bruna con riflessi miele di castagno, schiuma avorio molto persistente. Al naso crosta di pane, tostato, lieve caffè, toffee, diacetile. In bocca è dolciastra con note di tostato e finale amaro erbaceo. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Insomma...

Maits (600) - ESTONIA - MAR 28, 2017
Reddish amber beer with nice thick head. Aroma is sweet malty, caramel, roasted bread. Taste is good mild bitter and light sweet. Quite light body. Good dunkel beer.

Bottle. Reddish Brown in colour. Malty; roast malts, chocolate, caramel, hint of coffee. Hoppy; grassy hops. Fruity; some dried fruits. Sweet roast malty with a slightly bitter hop edge. Dry into the finish. Very drinkable. (2010-02)

rotaman14 (785) - Wiesbaden, GERMANY - JAN 19, 2017
Aroma of caramel and warm bread, but also of pepper and dark fruit. Quite bitter taste for the style, with hints of dessert chocolate and some fruitiness. Overall pretty good.

daniele (9888) - ITALY - NOV 25, 2016

Werckmeister (3444) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - AUG 20, 2016
0,5l bottle at hotel room in Nitra (partially consumed) and bought at Pivoteka Nitra. BB 07.04.2017. almost black color, small tan head. smells of licorice, veggies, peppery notes, light fruity notes, plums. not a fan of the smell. light body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of licorice, rather peppery, spices, light caramel, breadish. finishes rather peppery with notes of licorice and spicy notes. overall ok, taste is quite a bit better than the smell, but not really a favorite.
