Meh. Not a huge fan of this one. Too light and unassuming. In a style that depends on subtle complexities, this just doesn’t have any. Light roast and bread. Not enough going on... Gription79 (2891) - Bountiful, Utah, USA - AUG 19, 2011
On draft t the brewery.
Aroma: toasty, bready, mild toffee notes
Taste: toasty, bready, fruity, slight yeast flavor
A bit thin with a dry finish. This is a good session beer. douglas88 (9187) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAY 16, 2011
On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark copper color with a large foamy white head. A smooth toasted malt and lemon nose. The flavor is very nice; smooth toasted malts, quite a lot of crisp bitter hops, very smooth, sweet grains. Nice. A very good example of the style. Sledutah (7526) - Utah, USA - MAY 15, 2011
On tap at the brewpub
Appearance: Clear gold/amber with a medium sized off-white head and some light lacing
Aroma: Toasted malts and light caramel
Taste: Toasted malts, light caramel, nutty, earthy hops with a light grapefruit bitter finish
A nice easy drinking beer, clean and crisp.
