COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Czech Pilsener (a.k.a. Bohemian Pilsner) is the purest of beers - in our eyes. Clear and golden in color, light and crisp in taste. Our lager is well aged from real Pilzen Malt and actual imported Czech Yeast from Branik - Prague, Czech Republic. Only the finest Saaz hops are used to emulated this outside-of Pilzen, Pilsener. Crafted after one of our favorite Pilsners, Pilsner Urquell - you won’t be disappointed in this true Czech beer. The closest thing to Bohemian Pilsner you can get without actually being in the Czech Republic.

First brewed in 1842 and taking its name from the city of Pilsen in western Bohemia, pilsener is the original golden lager. The signature taste of Czech Saaz hops complement pale pilsener malt to create the most famous and beloved style of all Czech beers.

4% A.B.V. / 32 IBUs / Color: PALE GOLDEN / AVAILABLE: On draft at Bohemian Brewery and select bars, and in 6 & 12-packs at convenience & grocery stores.

Super cool 12 oz can from douglas88. Thanks man! Got to love switching it up now and then straying from my never ending quest at big beer fame on the internet. Anyways, this stuff was nice. Soft sweet aromas of bread. A touch of crisp peppery hops. Pours light gold with nice bubbles and a thin pils looking head. Bready, lightly sweet, very crisp snappy finish. Just well done and easy drinking. Light bodied, medium carbonation. Enjoyable.

Thanks to douglas88 for the can. Pours a slightly hazy light gold with a frothy white head. Light grain aroma and a touch of bitter hops and citrus. Smooth crisp malt taste with a nice balance of euro hops. Bitterness gently fades in the finish. Excellent version of the style.

Butters (4062) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - JAN 6, 2009
Sampled at tronraner’s Xmas Eve^3 tasting. Clear chill haze yellow pour. Light grain aroma. Faint saaz hops arrive in the flavor. medium body is almost syrupy with moderately low carbonation. Actually pretty damn good for style.

12 oz can **Summary** - This one came in my Secret Santa box. While I have my suspicions about who sent it I will just give a generic thanks. Bohemian pils are a nice change of pace from heavier styles and this was no exception. As a daily drinker it would not be bad to have in the fridge. **Aroma / Appearance** - Bright white foam surged out of the can until an equilibrium of beer and head was reached. The body was as one would expect - golden, transparent, and very carbonated. The nose was clear and light with a blend of hops, lemon zest, and white pepper. **Flavor / Palate** - Very drinkable it doesn’t stick to the throat at all. A light bitterness is all that remains after a few seconds. Coming from a state like Utah this is a nice gem and hopefully indicative of the quality of the rest of the beers at Bohemian.

tronraner (2459) - Walland, Tennessee, USA - DEC 26, 2008
Can courtesy of douglas88, shared at the tasting at my place. Pours golden yellow with white head. The aroma is sweet and grainy with a few ripe fruit notes. The flavor is ripe hops, hay, a bit of sourness, and a chalky dryness. Ok.

tronraner’s Xmas Eve Eve Eve Tasting. Sample from a bottle thanks to tronraner. Slight hazy yellow with a thin spattering of white head. Grainy and pils malt aromas. Tastes are solid, smooth and weighty pilsener malt with a light hop bittering.

Suttree (6537) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - DEC 23, 2008
Faintly cloudy yellow, loose white head. Smells kinda lemon and grainy, and tastes kinda lemony and grainy. Also it was in a can. Lets see, what else. Um, the can had green writing on it. It was cold outside. I drank it at about 3:45 PM. from tronraner at the Maryville tasting.

12 oz. can shared by tronraner at his Christmas gathering. Pale yellow with a lasting ring of bubbles. Grassy aroma with some faint sweetness in the background. Tastes of citronella and grassy hop with some honey underneath. Light-medium body is creamy and finishes crisp.

Can. Bright yellow pour, small head. Aroma is malty and grainy with notes of honey. Flavor is pretty standard pils. Certainly better than any macro around. Grainy, some hops and malt. Not bad.

Can... Mostly clear yellow lager with a small, creamy, white head. Biscuity, sweaty, earthy aroma. Medium-bodied with tingly carbonation. Peppery, earthy hop bitterness keeps the pilsner malt sweetness completely in Czech (pardon the pun).Crisp, refreshing finish. Thanks to douglas88 for shipping the can my way!
