Caramel malt was prominent at first; mellowed out after a few sips. Some nice bready/biscuit malt, with some rye character.

Appearance: Cloudy golden with a medium sized white head and good lacing
Aroma: Toasted malts, caramel, honey, nutty and rye
Taste: Toasted malts, citrus, spices and rye
A decent beer, clean and crisp. Easy drinking
Poured at home from a growler. Very sweet malty notes, honey, some fruitiness, slight spicy rye character in the finish. A nice rye beer without much complexity. douglas88 (9049) - Portland, Oregon, USA - DEC 28, 2012
Growler from the brewery. Pours a cloudy copper color with a medium white head. A sweet nose of toast and caramel, dry leaves. Very mellow, some light crisp hops, marmalade, distinct rye but not too spicy, more mellow caramel. Pretty clean and good.
