Tap. Pours clear orange, medium off white head, dissipates fairly quickly, good lacing. Aroma is grassy, grain, hint of nuttiness. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter. Light body. Decent. Ibrew2or3 (8748) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - APR 12, 2011
Can courtesy of Utah legend douglas88. It pours clear copper with off white head. The aroma is grainy malts, 7 grain bread, biscuit, spicy hops and a touch lemon like. The taste starts with semi bright notes of spicy hops, a bit of rosted malts and earthiness. It then picks up a touch of fruity esteriness as well as bready to grainy to near nutty malts. nimbleprop (8597) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - JUL 26, 2016
12oz can pours a clear, dark gold with some creamy, white head. Nose has yeast, grist, honey. Flavor follows, yeast, honey, flowers, orange, dough. Finishes dry. Not terrible. PorterPounder (8183) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - AUG 9, 2014
Green River, UT - Ray’s Tavern - on tap. Dark golden sparkling pour, snow white head. Malty wort-like aroma. Flavor has some caramel, some nuttiness, some buttery notes in the back end. Crisp refreshing mouthfeel. Hit the spot after a morning of hiking in Utah.

On tap at the brewery Ernest (7747) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - DEC 2, 2016
Appearance: Clear orange/copper with a off white head and no lacing
Aroma: Toffee, caramel, malts
Taste: Caramel, sweet malts, leaves a bitter aftertaste
Draft at the brewery. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, fully lasting. Body is medium to dark yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain, cookie), lightly hoppy (flowers). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
At first I thought I was given the wrong beer because the color was so much paler than expected, but that’s partly because this was a sample in a narrow glass. Great head retention, as usual. Whereas the Czech pils aroma leaped from the same sort of glass, this seems to hide and say nothing at all. And just sweet and flabby in the mouth. Not as bad as the Schwarz, but very dull. I’m really pleased they got the pils dialed in, but it sure would be nice if their other brews were closer to that level. Braudog (6793) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - JUL 3, 2003
Caramel colored with a malty head. Bitter malt flavors with a caramel-roasty finish. Pretty good. decaturstevo (6341) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - DEC 23, 2011
Golden yellow pour with white head. Aroma of sour corn and sugar. Light maltiness, paper, with a decent floral bitter finish. Light bodied with good carbonation. This beer is not bad. The initial aroma kinda got me but on the third or fourth try not so bad. dwyerpg (6290) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - AUG 29, 2010
Smells and looks okay, a little pale maybe. The flavor is okay, just mostly a bit thinnish, especially in the finish and there isn’t any roastedness to the malt at all.
