Wow, this is my new favorite local Salt Lake beer. Hoppy smooth flavor. Great red color. I had this beer on tap at a restaurant and it was searved with a great head. Very easy to drink. One of the smoothest beers I've had in a long time. Very impressed. This has to be the best brewery in the rockies. ogre71 (359) - Utah, USA - SEP 13, 2015

UPDATED: JAN 19, 2013 Bread crust-like malt aroma and flavor. A little sweet, some light caramel, with some lager yeast character (sulfur is the best descriptor I can think of... But that sounds bad). Braudog (6900) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - JUL 3, 2003
Caramel colored with a malty head. Bitter malt flavors with a caramel-roasty finish. Pretty good. afrueh (49) - Salt Lake City, Utah, USA - SEP 15, 2012

On tap @ Bohemian. Light amber pour with a white head. Bready, toasty malts dominate. Some mild floral hops and a bit of fruity ester qualities. Slight caramel to it, too. A bit more bitter than I’d normally expect. Still, really nice malt sweetness and bready character. Nice. BrewDad (5667) - Olympia, Washington, USA - JUL 19, 2007

On Tap – Good Malty aroma with a slight hop. Amber in color with a deep rich lager flavor. Slight hops flavor was detected and this finished with a good crisp flavor and was a very good beer.
NABA ’04: Copper color, light head. The aroma has some marshmallow & malt aroma, some faint dark malts. The flavor is similar with tropical punch. Weird vienna but refreshing & good. Immy (1958) - Virginia Beach, USA - JUN 23, 2010
12 oz can from a tourist trap in Bryce. Light amber pour with a white head. Nice mild malty nose, solid floral hop. This beer works - a nice, malty flavor, mildly toasty, well balanced with the floral hoppiness. interesting take on the style, I liked this as a session brew. Draft. Hazy golden color, medium white head. Aroma of spiced biscuits. Taste is malty brown bread. Nice.
