COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our full bodied amber colored lager is a result of combining our fine Pils malt with more darkly roasted malt to brew what has become our most popular beer. Slightly more hoppy than our other beers with a very clean and crisp finish. This beer is hard to put down.

Obtained in a trade. This can foamed a lot on opening. Poured gold in color with a huge white head and little lacing .Nose of toast and some light hops. Light in body. Flavor is malty and there is some floral hops. Finish is light citrus and some bitterness, but basically fades away. Pretty average beer.

Can. The look is a clear, beige colored head, and orange copper colored. The smell is grainy, malt, bread, and floral. The taste is sweet, malt tang, grain, and bread.

Light spicy aroma, light creamy malty flavor, thin body. You could almost float a balloon with this.

Draft at the brewery. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, fully lasting. Body is medium to dark yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain, cookie), lightly hoppy (flowers). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. At first I thought I was given the wrong beer because the color was so much paler than expected, but thats partly because this was a sample in a narrow glass. Great head retention, as usual. Whereas the Czech pils aroma leaped from the same sort of glass, this seems to hide and say nothing at all. And just sweet and flabby in the mouth. Not as bad as the Schwarz, but very dull. Im really pleased they got the pils dialed in, but it sure would be nice if their other brews were closer to that level.

Smells and looks okay, a little pale maybe. The flavor is okay, just mostly a bit thinnish, especially in the finish and there isnt any roastedness to the malt at all.

Copper pour. LIghtly metallic aroma with some hops, honey and light yeasty notes. Flavor is also a bit metallic, light hops. Ok.

Can to a shaker glass - Pours rusty red with a medium head. Has a sweet nose and a sour egg taste. Has a malty backbone that is nice but the taste is just to sour.
