One of the better beers I had a Bold City. A very nice beer. A little grain with a good amount of smooth malts and caramel flavor. Just a touch of sweetness balances this very well. Pour is a typical amber color with a white to tan head. Nose is malty and with a little caramel. Good job. yayforbeer (753) - Orange Park, Florida, USA - MAR 17, 2009
Pint at the brewery tap room. Bright amber beer with a nice thick white head. Pleasant sweet malt aroma. Flavor is very malty, a little sweetness and a spicy hop finish. Smooth medium body. A very drinkable/sessionable amber. Very nice. nick76 (4399) - Tampa, Florida, USA - JUL 14, 2011
I have to disagree with my good friend on this one. I find it fascinating. The aroma is very yeasty giving it a cheesy doughy quality with plenty of malt. The appearance is golden with a large head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is thin but OK. Overall a really good beer. djd07 (14358) - Houston, Texas, USA - DEC 28, 2016
On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy gold with small creamy white head that lasts. The aroma is wheat, honey, raisin, caramel. Medium body, similar flavors to nose, light finish, good. shadey (2125) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JUN 4, 2012
12oz bottle in Jacksonville FL. Light fruity aroma. Sweet fruity flavor and a malty finish. Easy to drink. Tasty.

Tap@ the brewery.
pours golden, white head.
Aroma, malty, light roast and hints of hops.
Flavor, roasted malts, some light hints of coffee and light hops.
As with the rest of the beers by Bold City, it seems a little one dimensional and thin in body. SudsMcDuff (8383) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - MAR 3, 2013

Gold pour with creamy white head. Aroma of caramel malt and earthy tones. Earthy hops with light caramel malt hints. A bit thin and watery but ok. Ibrew2or3 (8607) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - SEP 1, 2009
On tap at Bold City. It poured a bit of a departure from amber with more of a deep gold body supporting a white head of foam. The aroma is mild in strength bringing up tepid notes of earthiness, malts and little else. The taste is sweet with malts and then it becomes mildly roasty with a thin layer of caramel ‘round about midway. It gets a bit biscuit like as the finish approaches. If there are any hops in this beer there are at just the noticeable level and fail to add any balance to the layers of malty sweetness. beernovice39 (3270) - Idaho, USA - JUN 27, 2010
Draft. A copper brew with white head. Malty scent. Taste is bready with some ginger? A nice amber.
