My first pumpkin was 4 peaks first brewing of Pumpkin Porter in the 90’s and I have been drinking every one that has crossed my path ever since. There are many different styles to appreciate. I LOVE Cigar City Good Gourd but it is NOT a session beer. This Bold City brew on tap, has all the pumpkin and spice flavor you could want, without being too much, and you can happily drink more than one, similar to another favorite of mine: Curious Traveler Pumpkin Shandy. I will actually search for this one next year! rdixon77 (3022) - Georgia, USA - SEP 17, 2014
Pretty standard pumpkin beer. Orange-brownish color. Pumpkin pie spice and caramel dominate. Too sweet. No thanks. jsquire (4599) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - JAN 6, 2013
On tap at the Garage. Deep golden color with a sticky off white head. Big fresh pumpkin pie spice nose with lots of cinnamon and nutmeg. Honey and white sugar sweetness with lots of cinnamon, dusty pie spice and graham cracker pie crust. Nice spicy pumpkin beer. burg326 (5607) - Florida, USA - DEC 13, 2012
On draft at the brewery, poured an orangish copper color with aromas of nutmeg, cinnamon, and some light pumpkin pulp. Flavors are light caramel, cinnamon, all spice, light nutmeg, and a kiss of pumpkin. Not the best pumpkin beer I had, but better than most. drowland (9077) - Georgia, USA - OCT 23, 2012
First to rate! 10/21/12. On tap at Kickback’s. Deep amber/orange pour with a small khaki head. Huge pie spice aroma, especially nutmeg. The flavor also shows a ton of pie spice, especially nutmeg and big cinnamon. There is some gourdy sweetness and caramel in there as well. Why do I keep trying pumpkin beers? Tickers gon’ tick.
