On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is roast, toffee, smoke. Medium body, roasted malt, bread, light smoke finish, good. Leighton (22056) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 21, 2013
Keg at the brewery during RBWG 2013 - Jacksonville. Pours brown with a sturdy, tan cream head. Pretty mellow stuff, light smokiness, some earthy bitterness, faint cocoa. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Mild bitterness to finish, light roast, low smoke. Tasty if a bit simple. decaturstevo (6343) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - MAR 18, 2013
Black pour with creamy tan head and lace. Aroma of burnt coffee, roasted malt, and smoke. Sour malt, toasted malt, coffee, and light smoke. Medium bodied and fizzy. SudsMcDuff (8468) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - MAR 3, 2013
Pours a deep brown .. mild foam .. lacing is good .. . medium mouth feel .. . smoke is quite subtle .. . well balanced . .. not bad, but i’m a pacifier for smokey brews .. . . the person who first tried cottage cheese must have been a fruit loop.. aobecksy (700) - Middle of no where, Ohio, USA - MAR 3, 2013
My fav at BC-- RBWG JAX 2013. Nose is chocolate roastiness, light coffee, subtle smokiness. Like that it was not overwhlemed in the smokiness, but it could have been more meaty.

On tap at the brewery RBWG.
Opaque dark pour with a creamy tan head.
The aroma combines roast malt and some smokiness.
The flavor follows the aroma with a smoky roast malt bite at the finish. TURDFERGUSON (4058) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - MAR 1, 2013
Tap at BC. This was my favorite beer I tried at BC. Paired nicely with the Sweedish meatballs it was accompanied with. Nose is roast, bakers chocolate, light coffee, subtle smokiness. Flavor is similar, a little on the thin side, but solid. Sledutah (7792) - Utah, USA - FEB 26, 2013
On tap at the brewery, RBWG thedm (6310) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - FEB 22, 2013
Appearance: Clear dark brown with a big foamy beige head and good lacing
Aroma: Roasted malts, chocolate and mild smokiness
Taste: Roasted malts, grainy and coffee
Nice and tasty
This draft brew from the brewery poured a medium sized head of foamy fine to medium sized dark tan colored bubbles that were very long lasting and left behind a no visible carbonation opaque dark brown colored body and an excellent lacing. The aroma was malty and smoky. The mouth feel was tingly at the start with a mellow finish with a mellow smoky aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of smoky and brown malt. An OK brew just nothing special. aracauna (3651) - Georgia, USA - FEB 22, 2013
Dark, big head. Smoke is dominant but not overwhelming. Cherry fruit. A little on the light side.
