Found my notes late on this original offering. So good they are bringing a revival tour! Taste is nice and clean, palate is surprisingly clean and fresh. Can’t wait to enjoy another! Ibrew2or3 (8808) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - SEP 1, 2009
On tap at Bold City. It poured clear deep gold with thin white head. The aroma is mostly floral hops with some spice in the background. The taste is a bit bright with spice hops moving into floral hops and a modest level of sweet malts and wheat. It is concluded by a dry nearly refreshing sensation along with a lingering sense of sweet light skinned fruity esters. sebletitje (10282) - Enghien, BELGIUM - AUG 16, 2009

pours golden, white head.
Aroma had some light notes of rye, subtle hops and hints of malts.
Flavor, thick palate, hops, some grains, rye, malts with hints of fruity and spicy hops. Rye is apparent though not overwhelming. Overall palate remains thin.
At Bold City Brewing. Pours clear golden yellow. Thin white head. Slight pepper in the nose. Hint of lemon zest. Nice wheat flavor. Finishes light, kinda bland. GT (10002) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 25, 2009
Pours a fairly clear yellow with a small white cap that has no retention and no lacing. Aroma of corn, lemon zest, rye bread, but overall fairly watery. Taste is light and refreshing with a nice bite of rye spiciness. Not bad but a little too watery to be a good session beer.

On tap at the brewery. Hazy gold with no head. Spiced caramel and rye nose. The wheat overcomes most of the rye flavors, and a mild citrus tang. Not a bad drinker. jcwattsrugger (12517) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - MAR 25, 2009
on tap-pours an off white ring for a head and amber color. Aroma is mild citrus/pine. Taste is mild citrus/pine, secondary rye/grain. Mild carbonation. Oakes (18472) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 12, 2009
Amber colour. Spicy rye with some caramel. Spicy, slightly chewy rye note. Good balance. This showcases the rye very well. It’s a good session beer, definitely on the easy drinking side of things, with just a moderate level of bitterness. Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 9, 2009
Draught @ brewery taproom. Copper, clear. Fruity aroma includes pears, apples-n-honey. Nice. Gentle carbonation. Fruity body. Nicely hopped. Some bread crust. Crisp bitterness. Not much hefe character but nice. GodOfThunder (1249) - Orlando, Florida, USA - FEB 5, 2009
Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is wheat, orange and grain. Flavor has some vanilla and lots of rye. Very light on the flavor, but it certainly isn’t bad.
