Poured an orangey-amber wih a huge foamy light beige head. Aroma/flavor of metal bottle caps and wet brown bread, slight touch of nutts shells and earth. Body is like tonic water. Blah I’ve had better homebrew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Nose is sweet and somewhat malty, grainy, caramel and toast. Pour very pale orange-amber, clear with above-average carbonation and a sudsy beige head. Taste medium-sweet with toffee, caramel, lots of toasted grain; low bitterness and the sugar really adds up to a firm cloy here. Can’t quite call it clean but it’s not offensive. Medium body, fullish with speed, a bit homebrewy/underattenuated in feel and sweetness, but no rough alcohol. [2017.03.15: 2.8]

On tap Paragon Tap & Table. Pours clear amber thin white head. Aroma and taste is fruity some lightly toasted grains and bready notes. Palate is a medium body, crisp and pleasant mouthfeel. Finish is fruity with grains and bread flavors with some light hops for balance. Overall a good tasting brew on a summers eve.

DATE: March 26, 2016... OCCASION: Easter Saturday...Lent ends with a beautiful day... APPEARANCE: a strong amber body with sparse effervescence...the head retention is average, with a palpable ring and a lone island of off-white bubbles...no lacing, but that could be due to the clean glass.... AROMA: strong biscuit, caramel and toasted bread malts arrest the senses...some nice spiciness, like chocolate and cinnamon...the hops are earthy, with grapefruit and pineapple offering a bit of aromatic fruitiness...PALATE: medium-bodied, moderately effervescent...at this ABV, a good mid-afternoon sipper...TASTE: much as the aroma suggests, a malty lager that is powered by toasted bread, biscuit and caramel....the flowery hops add balance and some small dimension... OVERALL: Props to a Jersey beer with an attractive label and a cool name...this makes a solid, reasonably flavorful lager...

Decent sized off white head of small bubbles with very good carbonation. Dusty malt aroma with some spiced wafers, roasted grains and a bit of tart fruit. Color is a dark brown with good clarity. Metallic flavor upfront then morphs into a tart and acidic lager with a bit if bready dough. Brew seems a bit off to me. Bit of malt a sourness are not a great combo. Finishes tart and dry.
