A delightfully hoppy bitter. Clean & crisp with a very light golden colour and a refreshing bitter aftertaste.

330ml bottle from Bottle Heaton Moor. Pours dark amber with a very thin tan head. Aroma moderately malty with a touch of hops (citrus). Taste touch of sweetness but mainly dry bitter.

Bottle. Brewtique, Macclesfield. Clear, dark gold. Film of white head. Very fruity aroma. Syrupy mango. Ripe strawberry. Lots of caramel. Bit of unwelcome diacetyl in there, too. Taste is strawberry sweet. Then plenty of bitterness. Slick mouthfeel. A bit oily. Crisp carbonation. Finish is long, medium bitter. Too sweet for me.

Bottle. Pours a slightly dark amber with a white head. Lovely malty, grassy, woody aroma. Light to medium body, light carbonation. Lovely balance of grass, lemon, wood, toffee, light ash.., good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask at The Vale, Bollington. Slightly murky orange gold with a tight white head. Aroma is hoppy grapefruit, some toffee, malts. Flavour is hoppy, dry, grainy finish. Quite pleasant but not really my thing.

At NWAF, shared with Finn. Half, cask by handpump. Clear amber, naked at the top. Lemony hops in aroma. Citrus kind of taste supported by a touch of grainy malts, hints of berries as well. More sweet than bitter to the ending. Standard (Manchester, 24.01.2013).

Bottle. Big head upon pouring. Golden appearance with some citrus present. Bitter finnish. Crisp and pleasant but lacks personality.

From a gravity tap at Northwich Beer Festival 17/09/2011 Good bitter, very hoppy, dry and bitter with some fruit taste

Cask conditioned at Fleetwood Beer Fest ’11. Amber with white head. Dry malty bitter, a touch fruity perhaps, there is a good fullness of flavour on the palate. Leafy hoppy bitterness in the close, a well put together beer for me.
