COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular. Also available bottled.
Pale lager style bitter with fruity refreshing hops.
This is a cricketing term used to describe a short delivery which is not especially fast, making it easy for the batsman to hit because he has plenty of time to observe the speed and direction of the ball after the bounce and choose his shot accordingly. We also liked the association with the beer, and the hops we use in this beer are Goldings and Cascade.

downender (8660) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - MAR 19, 2017
Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 7/3/2017. Deep gold in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Aroma of stone fruits and a touch of citrus hops. Flavour had a touch more sweetish fruit and biscuity malts, leading to a moderately bitter finish. Fine.

Bottle. Lively upon opening which was a bit irritating. Massive head that refused to dissipate. Slightly hoppy but ultimately drinking this was really a waste of time-and I hate wasting time.

Rune (12820) - Tromsø, NORWAY - FEB 14, 2015
Half, cask ale at Crown Inn. Clear golden body. Tiny white head leaving lacing rings down the glass. Dusty hops with citric hints on the nose. Grass hoppy flavours together with moments of pale malts and citrus followed by a dry bitterness to the ending. Fair enough (Stockport 03.02.2015).

3.2
Garrold (5291) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - NOV 18, 2014
Bottle. Brewtique, Macclesfield. Clear gold. Bubbly, bright white head. Sweet grainy malts. Bit of pineapple. Green hop. A bit buttery. Taste is sweet. Some dry. Some bitter. Crisp palate. Bit oily. Finishes light bitter. Some zestiness. Ok. More buttery than you might want.

Benjii (3049) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 20, 2012
On cask at the 2012 NWAF, Manchester. Pours a very yellow colour with a fair white head. Aroma of caramel, barley, lemon and grassy hops. A lemon flavour upfront with caramel, grass and barley again. Mild carbonation and an oily mouth-feel.

ManVsBeer (10485) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JAN 18, 2012
Very hoppy on the nose and similar hoppiness in its taste, but a delightful one.
