Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 7/3/2017. Deep gold in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Aroma of stone fruits and a touch of citrus hops. Flavour had a touch more sweetish fruit and biscuity malts, leading to a moderately bitter finish. Fine. johndoughty (5454) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - SEP 20, 2015
Bottle. Lively upon opening which was a bit irritating. Massive head that refused to dissipate. Slightly hoppy but ultimately drinking this was really a waste of time-and I hate wasting time. Rune (12820) - Tromsø, NORWAY - FEB 14, 2015
Half, cask ale at Crown Inn. Clear golden body. Tiny white head leaving lacing rings down the glass. Dusty hops with citric hints on the nose. Grass hoppy flavours together with moments of pale malts and citrus followed by a dry bitterness to the ending. Fair enough (Stockport 03.02.2015). Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, citrus, lime, soap. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.
On cask at the 2012 NWAF, Manchester. Pours a very yellow colour with a fair white head. Aroma of caramel, barley, lemon and grassy hops. A lemon flavour upfront with caramel, grass and barley again. Mild carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. ManVsBeer (10485) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JAN 18, 2012
Very hoppy on the nose and similar hoppiness in its taste, but a delightful one.
