Aroma of malt, caramel, cardboard, nuts, strong metallic notes, hops. Flavour is light malty sweetness with a bitter finish. Body is a bit on the light side. Pretty typical Altbier. Alusmamuts (2176) - LATVIA - SEP 18, 2014

Not familiar with the style so it is hard to compare. Looks nice deep clear copper. Small head and sufficient but low carbonation. Body it quite weak. Flavor is subtle with a nice hint of smoke some malt, bitter hops and caramel. There is a metallic element I do not like so much. Curious to see how they compare to others in the style. minutemat (6262) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - AUG 28, 2014
500ml bottle @ Midlands Tasting Aug 14, at Richie’s Hop Palace. This will go down in history as Blackhaddock’s favourite Alt so I felt quite privileged that he chose to share it with us. Pours dark amber with off-white head. Smoked aroma, malts, slightly bitter. A decent alt.
