COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Zutaten: Wasser, Gerstenmalz, Weizenmalz, Hopfenextrakt. Alk. 4,9 % vol.

Countbeer (6286) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - MAR 4, 2012
Bottlet: Medium vast white head that disappears slow, on top of a clear dark ruby colored beer. Smell skunk, weed, older hops, manure, strange smell. Taste barleys, light caramel, some malts and older hops. Not much else Barley malty herby aftertaste. Low to medium carbo, light creamy mouthfeel, low body and a texture between creamy and watery.

Embrouille (2843) - SWITZERLAND - NOV 20, 2011
Bottled 50cl. Ordered from www.bierzwerg.de. It pours an amber beer with a bubbly beige head. Breadcrust, malt, honey and boiled vegetables (DMS in this top fermented beer?). Good bitterness. Dry finish. I was expecting a better Alt.

kuphish (381) - Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA - NOV 7, 2011
Bottle. Mahogany body is clear with a fluffy, large, tan head on top. Leaves a thin bubbly ring with fair lacing. Lightly toasty, malty aroma. Bready, biscuity flavor with a hint of toffee and floral hops. Medium-light body borders on thin. Sweetness balanced by a firm bitterness. Medium carbonation and somewhat minerally. Lingering bitterness. Pretty good Alt.

Bottle at home. Clear copper pour, foamy off-white head. Aroma is murky, grainy and malty with some spices. Flavor is slightly bitter, spicy, watery and quite clean. Not too bad.

UPDATED: OCT 3, 2011 Bottle. Deep brown in colour. Restrained but appealing aroma. Medium body with reasonably full very dry but perhaps a bit metallic finish. Pleasant and refreshing well made Altbier, but doesnt set the world alight.

ElDesmadre (3625) - Mikołw, POLAND - JUL 18, 2011
Bottle. Dark amber with a frothy but quickly dissipating head. Malty aroma with caramel, quite heavy and bitter on the palate, some basement aromas. Not bad but disappointing. Also, significantly weaker than their Ur-Alt.
