From the barrel, at some shitty dive bar next to our hotel, Düsseldorf, 11.10.17. Clear dark golden brown with a frothy head. Malt and some nuts and rather earthy aroma, bitter, cereals and a little bit of caramel taste. Medium-to-full body, sweetish malty finish and fair fizz. 01-10-17 // 500ml bottle. Brownish colour. Smooth, sweet malty, caramel, some Toffee, sweetbitter finish. Good Alt. Zlotta (3814) - Hagen / Düsseldorf, GERMANY - JUL 19, 2017
0.33 l bottle from local ’trinkgut’, best before December 2017. Clear, dark reddish amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish, slightly malty, bready and a bit fruity aroma of caramel, bread, nuts and hints of raisins. Moderately sweet, slightly malty, a bit fruity taste of caramel, toasted nuts and a touch of raisins, followed by a short, slightly bitter, quite dry finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pretty boring and average Alt, quaffable but I don’t really like it. Derbeth (1053) - Kraków, POLAND - JUN 26, 2017

Helder bruin bier met mooie schuimkraag. Smaak is bitter hoppig en licht zoet met iets van hooi, gras en bittere chocolade. Erg mooi alt bier.
