COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle at home. Hazy orange pour, solid white head. Aroma is slightly spicy, some wheat, banana, grainy and some fruity malts. Flavor is quite yeasty, very German and a bit swampy. Simple brew.

Kapsel nie odskoczył. Szkoda. Pieni się obficie. Piana biała, nietrwała, grubo pęcherzykowa. Lacing prawie żaden. Kolor pilsowy, pełny, równomiernie zmętniony. Czuć chmiel, lekką ziołowość, trochę kwasowatości. Po ogrzaniu zaczyna wychodzić zapach, cytując klasyka, ’mokrego kartonu’. Smak jest wyważony, choć dość łagodny. Są nuty siarkowe, jest goryczka. Odczucie w ustach dość pozytywne. Na języku szerokie, goryczka lekko zalegająca.

Cerbier (802) - - NOV 30, 2014
0,5l Flasche. Goldgelbes, naturtrübes Bier mit kleiner Schaumkrone. Riecht malzig. Schmeckt malzig und nach Hefe.

2.3
Erzengel (8723) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - NOV 18, 2014
* Old rating, 50cl swing-top bottle, bets before 06.06.06. Mild-malziges, leicht getreidiges, leicht süßliches Bier. Sehr süffig, aber auch nicht zu tief.

(Boltens Landbier) Swing top bottle, 500 ml, served into a glass tankard. ABV 4.9% Golden yellow colour on the body, slightly hazy, with a decent sized white head. Good retention, light lacing on the glass. Refreshing aroma, some grains, fresh grass, touch of lemon. Same on the taste, grains, grass, straw, refreshing lemon notes. The only downside is that is very faint. Medium thin body, low carbonation, almost watery. Good one if you’re thirsty.

tricksta_p (4644) - Steenwijk, NETHERLANDS - OCT 16, 2014
Aroma of malt, grain, bread, grass, hops. Flavour is remarkably bitter and light tart. Really quite fresh and drinkable, not as boring as most Landbier.

allmyvinyl (10613) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 25, 2014
500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours hazy yellow, some floaters, thin white head. Aromas of light lemon and wheat. Taste is light sweet lemon. Light bitter finish. Bit thin, but not bad.

Alengrin (5340) - BELGIUM - JUL 30, 2014
Landbier from the well-known Altbier brewery, unusual in being top-fermented, like their Altbiere but unlike typical Landbiere. Thick, rocky, stable, sticky, cream white head, colour deep golden blonde, misty. Aroma of pale malts with vague hints of dried citrus peel and unripe peach, chamomille-like hops. Taste rounded maltiness, relatively full, light yeastiness, subtle sweetness evolving into a medium long, hoppy bitterness, also a chalk-like accent. I am not very familiar with the Landbier style but this is quite an enjoyable brew.
