COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

UPDATED: JAN 2, 2017 Bottle in Metz in July’16. Near black pour with a brown head. Aroma is not very strong, dark malts, but in the taste appear chocolate tones. An OK light porter, but I would have been curious towards a more heavy version.

Tasted at temperature from 12,7°C to 16,5°C. Opaque black body with brown reflections, headed by a dark beige foam that quickly fades away to nothing left; abundant fine bubbles. Aroma of obvious toasted coffee, candi; ferruginous. Taste of sweet and round coffee, bitter cocoa; very well balanced bitterness, beautiful length. Matching very well haggis with neeps and tatties, as well as a dark chocolate and mint mousse.

Bottle 50cl, a cloudy brown beer with copper head. Nose is on caramel, yeast and licorice. Aroma is on roasted coffee, caramel, yeast, again licorice, cereals notes. Sweet body, light acidity and too much yeast but drinkable.

Une porter sympathique qui reste assez "aqueuse". Une bonne découverte. Je recommande !
