Big bottle. Thick white head. Dark hazy gold color. Smells excellent, some floral with sweet alcohol. Tastes of citrus, but darker. Tangy, a little sour, some funkiness. Some old alcohol taste near the middle and end. Tastes spicy after but not as crisp a body as expected. commonmac (1201) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 27, 2014
Big bottle poured into glass from Belgium. Dark golden, maybe copper. Aroma is vibrant and enjoyable...some elements of a farmhouse coupled with good hops. Head is persistent. Taste initially let me down. It doesn?t live up to that aroma. None of the spiciness I was anticipating. Almost reminds me of a weak Belgian IPA. Very little finish. A disappointment. Hazy crimson red. Smells awesome. Great malty sweet oaky yeasty awesome nose. Taste is slightly worse but not bad. Straight up grain, rye and some avocado and peachy notes. Crispy rice pudding and caramel toffee with a spicy bread finish AirForceHops (7129) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - JUN 14, 2014
750 ml bottle thanks to Skyview, thanks much for the opportunity! Color is a dirty amber with huge lasting carbonation that needed time to settle after the first pour. Aroma is awesome, pine hops, spicy yeast and rye malts. islay (2634) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAY 10, 2014
The flavor is nice. I get the Belgian Wit yeast, nice and spicy upfront caramel malt base with a orange peel or citrus zest toward the finish. Has a bitterness n the finish that lingers and tastes like a pine hop. Nice amount of flavor. Innovative recipe with creativity, I enjoyed sipping this. And with a 6% ABV it is highly drinkable with a lot of character.
4 oz. pour as part of an 8-beer flight, on tap at the brewery’s taproom. Pours a clear brass/gold with beige head. Produces extensive lacing. Fruity aroma features vanilla and caramel scents. Pleasant aroma. Dry taste features chemicals and plum. Flavor initially is offputting, but I get used to it and end up mildly enjoying a juicy quality that emerges upon multiple sips. Grape seed flavor. Long, dry aftertaste. Light to medium body. Frothy and fizzy in the palate.

bottle in picture, from zipp’s. i like music, and musicians, but i don’t know what the issues there are. the beer was good, but i’m not dying for another. it may just have been a bad choice to bring to homestyletastechinese, where it didn’t stand up to the food. Bomber. Mostly clear amber pour with a white head. Hops forward and a bit of dark fruit. Okay, but not loving it. Outrageously priced. camborne (656) - Hopkins, Minnesota, USA - MAR 27, 2013
Spices and dark fruit nose. Palate follows suit and has a great hop taste added to a solid Belgium style brew. Finish with Hoppy bitterness. Good and good cause nsquishee (641) - Richfield, Minnesota, USA - FEB 27, 2013
Smells like green grapes, granny smith apples, orange, and banana. Color is a light, orange-amber with a lacy and creamy white head. Very nice spice amidst the more bold hop and lemon flavors. Tastes sweet and finishes bitter. Has a very smooth and creamy initial palate, finishing with a fizzy carbonation. Very nice Belgian beer from MPLS. mnmike (1086) - Minnesota, USA - FEB 22, 2013
On sample at Four Firkins. This beer is for a great cause - so let me get that out of the way first. I really like the infusion of extra hops to the semi-traditional Belgian style here. Golden copper color on the pour - moderate head. Sediment is present from the bottom part of the bottle pour.
