Draught at Northbound in Minneapolis. Light celery, sourish nose, with abit of honey. Medium copper color. Lacquer, harsh malt, with melds into ... not much. Thin-medium body. Thin. Not so well put together. Maybe a good start on a Belgian IPA, but there’s certainly work to be done here. There are some off flavors and the good flavors are not delineated. joet (2648) - Wilsonville, Oregon, USA - AUG 28, 2013
Golden liquid with a pillow of rocky white foam. Full aroma fruity and herbal bits of celery and melon. Slightly sweet creamy feel. Little bit of alcoholic heat oily fusel. Very subdued Belgian esters. Very nice ttoadee (1536) - Austin, Texas, USA - AUG 14, 2013
Cloudy orange pour, not much head. Little hop in the nose. Bittersweet. Middle is flat malt taste. Finish is the hops trying take back control, but not quite pulling it off. Trev (2023) - Lakeville, Minnesota, USA - JUL 31, 2013
Hazy amber pour
aroma of earthy yeast, light citrus.
Flavour is caramel, some damp earthy yeastiness with candy sugar and fruit tones with a light to medium floral fruity bitterness. Pailhead (6543) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - JAN 19, 2013

Bottle: The aroma consists of light citrus, apple, bubblegum, faint grapefruit, and grass. It pours a hazy (bordering on cloudy) amber with a two finger orange tinged off-white head that fades to a thin film within a minute or so. There’s a good amount of webbing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with a some light-moderate fruit and a touch of caramel. Some bubblegum notes and banana come into play in the middle. The finish has light citrus, grapefruit, and floral notes. It’s light-medium bodied with moderate-lively carbonation.
Pours a rather cloudy golden yellow with nice, thick, lasting head. Aroma is quite heavy on the grassy side of the hops. Flavor is dominated by a very bitter, hoppy-citrus combination that almost veers a bit more towards the witbier/wheat side of things. From a company that specializes in Belgian-style ales, this maybe isn’t such a surprise. Very bitter finish to the beer. Interesting but not my favorite. barn0216 (550) - California, USA - SEP 24, 2012
Cloudy copper amber pour, thick off-white head. Grapefruit hop aroma, sweet flowers. Taste roasted malt, grain, yeast, alcohol and a bitter finish. theisti (4157) - Kansas, USA - SEP 17, 2012
750 ml corked and caged bottle purchased at Zipps in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The pour is a hazy golden with a thick two inch head that leaves behind pretty lacing. The aroma is fresh floral hoppiness, a bit of detectable bitterness and a nice backbone of mildly sweet cracker malt. Nice balance in the nose. The taste is the nose, clean fresh floral hops paired nicely with a lightly sweet cracker malt. Additionally, there is a bit of honey and citrus fruit in the flavor. Nice subtle character. The palate is medium bodied, soft carbonation and a dry slightly bitter finish. Nice solid beer. Nuffield (4187) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - AUG 30, 2012
Not a full-on, over the top IPA, but it has some good qualities and I really thought of it more as a wannabe double IPA, because of the abv and the malt character. Gentle hop nose, with a flavor that was less enjoyable. (tap at the Happy Gnome) jmikolich (1477) - North Ridgeville, Ohio, USA - AUG 27, 2012
750mL from PortableParty, C&C.. nose is substantially better than the taste, nose is hoppy and bold where the taste is malt forward and fairly balanced, very fresh this would be a good IPA
