Raspberry lambic was once a rarity and only produced for a few weeks during the summer. Frank Boon was the first brewer to again prepare a raspberry lambic in the summer of 1976. More than 300 grams per liter of fresh raspberries give Framboise Boon a fresh fruity taste. The young lambic supports the flavor. But this is very much about raspberries, not the lambic. Of course we do not use artificial flavorings, only real raspberries. Boon Framboise has an alcohol volume of 5%. Drink it when it is young.

Pours a cloudy pinkish brown with red hues and a white head. Smells strongly of raspberries, slightly sour. The flavour is also very sour, but not necessarily in a bad way. It is a very carbonated beer and raspberries dominate, as expected, but there is a touch of malt and an odd metallic taste near the finish - this could be the alcohol flavour mixing with the fruit. Although I am a fan of sour flavours when it comes to lambics, this could benefit from a touch of sweetness, perhaps just to mellow the intensity of flavour. On saying that hwever, the palate is left with a lingering berry sweetness that begs for another sip.

Aromat malin, bardzo przyjemny. W smaku również maliny, choć już nie tak intensywne. Zabrakło brettów, które były słabo wyczuwalne.

Bottle 0.375 l. 2014. Ruby-dark brown with pinkish foam. Aroma: strongly raspberry, a bit sour and raspberry jam. Taste: pleasant sourness, light sweetness, raspberries, good balanced.

375ml, 2014 bottle. Nice aroma of fresh raspberries. It's neither sour nor sweet, just light in every aspect. Nothing amazing, but it's still good.

Lichte koolzuurprikkel. Volmondig. Afdronk: zoet, fruitig. Deed even denken aan Liefmans. Onder de zoetere framboos bieren een drinkbaardere keuze.

Piwo klarowne w kolorze czerwonym nalewa sie z obfita lekko rozowa sredniopecherzykowa piana. Maliny, niezbyt intensywne dzikie nuty gdzies w tle, malo kwasne a raczej moze odrobine slodkie bez goryczki z wysyceniem na srednim poziomie.

More raspberry drink than beer. Raspberries at sweet with the lambic in the shadows. Nice texture and the flavour is authentic but it's too fruity and sweet.

Backlog, bottle, pours a clearish red with a white/pink head. Notes of acid polish, off fruit, raspberry, and sweet soda pop. Became too sweet for me by the end. Prefer other lambic or New Galurs fruit beers .

This bottle i think was rotten. Aroma is sour, rotten raspberries. Bad beer, I drunk it really hard. Was a bad presentation to my relatives, when showing them lambic for the first time. No sweetness, no sourness, it was bitter, smell metalic and taste was totaly shitty rotten. No head. One of the worst beers ever. I think there was something bad to this beer, couldnt believe it is that bad, even with such 91 points overall in ratebeer.com
