Kriek Mariage Parfait is an Old Style Kriek of exceptional excellence. 400 g of wild cherries per litre are fermented together with a strong Lambic of spontaneous fermentation and aged on 6,200 litre oak foudres (large wooden casks) for 5 to 6 months. Kriek Mariage Parfait is naturally clarified and referments in the bottle. It is unsweetened, unfiltered, unpasteurised and has no artificial flavours, preservatives or colourings added. Brewed in Lembeek, the village that gave Lambic its name. Pour slowly in a flute glass without disturbing the yeast sediment in the bottle and enjoy this epitome of traditional Lambic brewing.

Enjoyed a 1986 brewing at the Toronado. During the last 17 years the flavor has sweetened and softened. The brett and cherries are fully integrated and the profile is very smooth. My best beer experience to date.

schiuma porpora pochissima persistenza. Frizzante deciso. Dolcezza zero. Acido, selvaggio, spontaneo.

Mucho fruto rojo y madera. Seca.

Bottle pours hazy crimson-maroom with a lasting off-white head, fizziness evident. The aroma is big cherry, bit of barnyard funk. The flavor bursts forth with cherries. They apparently used 400g per liter, which is quite a lot, and I believe it. Nice tannic, funky, mildly tart finish. In your face. Body is medium and finish is long. Carbonation is active. Well f**k me running. This is pretty legit.

Backlog, bottle, pours a lightly hazy red with a pinkish white 2 finger head. Notes of lactic acid, vinegar, cherry skin, and biscuits. Body is light to medium with active carbonation.

375ml bottle of 2014 Release pours a reddy purple color with a bit of head. Delicious cherry flavor of balanced well by the sour and funk. So easy drinking.

Mrkrd, disig l med ett rosa skum. Syrliga krsbr i bde doft och smak. ven inslag av andra syrliga br. ven ltt funkighet. Ganska enkel, men god. Dljer alkoholen mycket vl.

Hazy deep ruby, huge pink head with good retention. Funky aroma, moderate barnyard, sweat, green fruit acidity. Just a touch of dried cherry stickiness. The taste is dry, moderate lacto, green fruit. The cherry is dried and old without the sweetness, juicy acidity with no sharp edges. Very nice.

Bottle share. Dark red with a thin white head. Smells of sweet fruits, funk, and oak barrel. Tastes of sweet pie cherries and funk. Light puckering cherry taste.

Bottle share. Deep burgundy pour, small ring of pink head. Grape, red wine aroma. Taste is sweet, grape juice, nice lingering finish. Very well rounded.
