2008 bottle at North Bar, Leeds. Pours a hazy orange, finger of white head. Aroma is incredible - grapefruit, lemon, sherbet, backyard funk, some dust. Classic gueuze. Taste is great, too - grapefruit, lime, sherbet, a bit of apricot, almost bready. Obviously sour, of course, but not nearly as puckering as a Cantillon. Medium bodied, CO2 prickle, slightly dry, yet long, flavourful finish. Oh joy.

Bottle, till 07.06.2035. Deep golden, little bit cloudy with medium frothy, but not very stable head and minimum lacing. Aromas are sour with some barnyard notes, disappearing while getting warmer and replaced by citrus, mainly grapefruit. Taste is sour with a little bit sweetness, medium body, pretty smooth mouthfeel and nice dry finish with acidic flavors. Quite high carbonated, very well balanced and refreshing - would never say it’s 8% stuff. Very good!

Simply a beautiful beer, dry on the palate, subtle aroma and complex taste. Perfection

Vynikající lambic s tóny hroznů. Nakyslá chuť s téměř žádnou pěnou a skvělou svěžestí.

Edycja 2013.

Finale resinoso e amaricante. Una delle mie geuze preferite!

375ml bottel, Vintage 2013. Pours with a clear pale orange color and a small white head, which dissapers very quickly. The nose is fresh citurs, grapefruit-peel, old and dusty, some syrup, some yeast. Taste of sweet-sour fruits, grapefruit, oranges in the mix with some melon. Some floral hints, slightly yeasty. Nice sour-fruity fininsh.

Medium aroma of malts, caramel, fruit, citrus and brettanomyces.

Turbid/opaque golden/amber beer with heavy yeast and with a slight/medium off-white head.

Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel and fruit; ends slightly bitter and dry with citrus and brettanomyces.

This beer is intense, complex and balanced. So I just found out that I never had this beer before, while I am drinking a freaking 2012 version. Loads of sweet fruits that never forms anything distinctly, but touches some orange maybe. Lovely finish that never really gets sour. Great appearance and palate as well, but the aroma could have been stronger.

Bottle from BeerMill. Cloudy burnt orange with thin white head. Caramel, wood, sour fruit, funk aroma. Highly carbonated and sour mouthfeel. Grapefruit, lemon, orange, watermelon; lots of fruit and its very sour. More wood, floral and spice. A lot of gas in this. Keeps it interesting.
