COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Oude Kriek Boon is one of the finest examples of the 100% spontaneous fermentation fruit-Lambic style. 400 g of wild cherries per litre are fermented together with a blend of young and old Boon Lambic that has been aged in oak casks. After clarification, the Oude kriek is bottled and refermented. It is unsweetened, unfiltered, unpasteurised and has no artificial flavourings, preservatives or colourings added. Brewed in Lembeek, the village that gave Lambic its name. Pour slowly in a flute glass without disturbing the yeast sediment in the bottle. Cheers !

teddybeer (3735) - Madrid, SPAIN - MAY 21, 2017
Dark garnet color with a minimal and quickly diminishing off-white head. Aroma with a high presence of cherries and some other red fruits. Flavor with mild sourness, very fruity, cherry notes and some sweetness. Medium acidic in the aftertaste, very fruity.

2008 bottle. Deep purple color. Deep intense rich fresh cherries in the nose. Low carbonation. The cherries are really pronounced . Modestly dry. Very rounded. Very nicely aged.

Shared 2015 bottle. Red colour, minimal pink head. Aroma of sour cherries with notes of red currants, grapes, light hay. Taste is dry, light to medium sour, of cherries, red fruits. Light to medium body, soft to average carbonation. Tangy. Good kriek, but still young, dominated by notes of fruits.

6.5%ABV. Lambic. Poured out garnet red. Nose has manure and ammonia, dirt. Mouthfeel is raw juice and almost soupy. Overall, the mouthfeel is hefty and had some body to it. Palate is wheat flour and sweet dough. Tart cherries. There is a salty, umami quality. Woody finish

Nicht künstlich, aber zu zahm und girlielastig. Unaufgeregt fruchtig und easy angelambikt..Why Not!? ☺. 0,1 beim ZYTHOS 2017.

Wow! Tego oczekuję od Kriek’a. Cudowna cierpka wiśnia i rześka dzikość. Klasyka w dobrej cenie!

cinek (283) - POLAND - APR 10, 2017

Poncjusz (170) - POLAND - MAR 30, 2017
Kolor wiśniowy, lekko zamglony, pina rośnie wysoka drobna i gęsta.
