COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A stronger version than the regular lambik, especially brewed to make Marriage Parfait and other stronger ABV lambik blends. This is for the unblended version, so not the assemblage which is already a mixture of young and old lambik, ready for botteling.

Draft at Helst, Amsterdam. Hazy golden with barely any head. Aroma of dry cellar and cheesy funk, mineral, grain, citric fruity notes and light barnyard. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Maakun (6952) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - JAN 25, 2018
Tap at Helst as foeder something something. Hazy golden with barely any head. Strong funk and hay, light white wine, light grains and minerals. It’s mostly white wine with hay and funk, maybe some yoghurt and a touch of alcohol. Medium sweet, light bitter and sour. Medium bodied with no carbonation. Not the best Boon but not bad.

Draft 0.25l at Helst Amsterdam, The Netherlands. 25.01.2018. Taste with sjogro, Maakun and kermis. Pour it hazy golden color with no head. Aroma old feel grains, malty. Taste smooth, slighty sourish, lemonish, medium body, slighy sourish, bitterish finish. Interesting!

Tap at Helst (ex Watering Hole). Correct me if I’m wrong but this is on the menu as Unblended Oude Lambiek with an abv of 7%. Unclear golden with thin white head. Sweet musty grains, dried apricots, old parmezan, woody and funky notes. Light sweet and only so little hints of sourness. Under medium body and no carbonation

Keg at the Star and Garter, Bromley. Hazy gold pour. Nose of straw, green apple, lemon peel. Tart flavours of lemon sherbet, more green apple, brie. Very good.

Tap. Restobieres, Brussels. Very hazy, orange gold. Slim ring of white head. Nose has some sulphurous, woody, tannic apple notes. Pretty unusual, first off. Some damp, sweaty grain. Smells not unlike a dry scrumpy. Taste has some baked apple sweetness. A little tart. A little dry. No real acidity here. Light body. Minimal carbonation. Soft, woody, apple tang to finish.

On draft. Clear gold in colour with low carbonation. Aromas of ripe apple, light funk, old dry barrel, and lemon. Flavors of mild tart apple, faint herbal, more light funk, and driftwood. Complex and highly drinkable.

At Brussels Beer festival September 2017. From a jug. I double checked with the bar guys and yes it had the right beer label as on the image on RB and 7% abv still hazy amber colour collar of bubbles. Oh wow that is like heaven in a glass. Almost like a cider. Its made my knees go weak. Apple lemon wood. Not too sour but moderate acid finish. Stunningly good.

vinivini (3248) - Gomel, BELARUS - AUG 30, 2017
Tap. Foggy golden colour. Minimal head. Aroma: unripe apples, pleasant acidity, meadow, straw, minimal wildness. Light body. Dry flavour. Very fruity. Moderately tart. Refreshing. No sign of alco. Really unblended? Wonderful
