Poured into a mug, the appearance was a soft brown color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a moderate pace. Sly lace.
The aroma takes in some chocolate, caramel and a light nuttiness at the end.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet side. Soft malty aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Soft carbonation. ABV felt fine.
Overall, good brown ale for the most part. jcwattsrugger (12418) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - FEB 10, 2013

Tap at the brewpub. This was a deep brown, with a cool deep garnet color when held to light. The nose was toasty and malty. There was also a light citrus note. A very toasty finishing brew, this also had lots of toffee. A very nice rendition of the style.
