Bottled. A red beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of fruits, red berries, roasted malt, and caramel. The flavor is very sweet with notes of caramel, fruits, and red berries, leading to a dry roasted finish. joergen (29230) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 21, 2012
Bottle at Papsø.
Clear orange-brown coloured with a medium sized beige head.
Sweet and fruity aroma of caramel and marzipan with roasted notes.
Fruity and light roasted flavour of caramel with notes of alcohol.
Fruity and warming alcoholic finish. omhper (25750) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JUN 10, 2005
Bottled. Dark mahogany, rich firm head. Nutmeg aroma. Elegant, woody and solidly malty, There’s a rich cookie malt flavour and lots of milky chocolate. The hop late is low, and does not distract from the richness of the malt flavours. Complex, and really, really good!

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of bluebetty. Pours a clear dark orangey brown with a dense beige head. Subtle roasty nose. Rich body, subtle roast and dark dried fruits, yeast and friendly phenols - appears almost as if a Belgian yeast was used. Somewhat biscuity. A little odd and not entirely clear.. 190412 chriso (21656) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 1, 2006
Bottle at the London Gathering, November 2005. No complaints about this one. Deep reddish colour. Plenty of dry chocolate and roast malt. Warming alcohol is apparent but well integrated. Although not very hoppy, it finishes quite dry and slightly bitter. Goes down nicely.
