Medium bodied, pale copper color.. You can taste the spices in it and leaves a mellow taste on the palate. Overall, good beer! brokensail (16689) - Dublin, California, USA - FEB 10, 2011
A: The pour is almost amber, maybe burnt orange, with a finger of khaki colored head.
S: Pretty typical Belgian aromas happening here. A lot of yeast contributions such as banana, bubblegum, and miscellaneous spice notes (most notably, pepper and coriander). As the beer warmed up a little bit, a lot of peach aroma started to come through.
T: Bubblegum, bananas, and peaches are all (again) very strong in terms of their presence. I get some decent spice character and quite a bit of malt, which is mostly toffee and bread flavors.
M: The body is medium with a lively carbonation.
D: My other favorite from the pilot beers. This one was really quite well done. JohnC (3008) - Mission Viejo, California, USA - JAN 29, 2011
Thanks to Ryan for setting me up with a sample, on tap at Bootlegger’s in Fullerton, CA.
Not as pale in color as I would have expected, very middle of the road in flavor.
