Sample at Craft Tap House. Hazy golden color with a medium white head that diminishes quickly to a film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of herbal hops, grapefruit and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hop aftertaste. Decent overall. Lubiere (13796) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 1, 2016
A lightly hazed golden ipa with a thin white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with loads of resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, California nose, very nice and pungent. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with loads of citrusy floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light mineral notes, nice and smooth. On tap at brewery. BlackHaddock (7232) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - APR 29, 2016
650ml bottle into a La Chouffe tulip three times on 29th April 2016. Gold body, thin white wispy head on each pour. Hops all the way here, but not overpowering or overly bitter, more than enough in the brew to keep any hop freak happy with a malt content that helps to keep those hops somewhat balanced within the beer. Crisp and nicely carbonated, a very decent ’West Coast Style IPA. SlimHabib (462) - Redondo Beach, California, USA - JAN 3, 2016
Bottle pour. Clear bright golden with a good size white creamy head. Aroma is citrus, grapefruit, and pine. Medium creamy body. Sweet with a light, but long lasting bitter finish. JBPortland (1543) - Hampton Roads, Virginia, USA - DEC 16, 2015
22oz bottle (no date) pours clear golden orange with 2 finger foamy head. Classic west coast profile with nice resinous pine and crisp floral citrus on the nose. Taste has a touch more honey-malt on the backend, though still enough pleasant grassy orange, pineapple, pine, and resin to keep it interesting. Finishes with high bitterness, toast malt, honey, pine, citrus. Bought from a gas station and there’s no date so assuming it’s not very fresh, it’s held up quite well. I can drink this.
