On draft at Stone Bistro. Pours a dark amber, almost red -- one of the darkest IPA/DIPA I have seen. Small white head. A very hoppy aroma with mango, citrus, and soap. Flavor is sharp hops (citrus, grass) but quite nice with a strong malt backbone. Very nice finish -- not too bitter. The high ABV is extremely well hidden. A well-balanced and very good DIPA! alexanderj (3605) - Branson, Missouri, USA - FEB 25, 2010
On tap at obriens. Nice to see this make it down here. Poured a dark orange-amber color. Aroma of citus, fruit, yeast, earth and flowers/pine. Really dug the flavor; a great balance and blend. Some nice sweet and sugary notes. Citrus and fruity hops; strongly hopped but not overdone. Nice caramel balance. Eye opening good. yespr (49162) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - FEB 25, 2010
64 fl oz growler. Pours clear and golden deep orange with a small white head. Aroma is dense grapefruity and mild peachy hoppy. Sweet and fruity hops flavoured. Clean and crisp. Lovely. Bitter and dry finish. Lovely again. DaSilky1 (2608) - San Diego, California, USA - FEB 21, 2010
Semi-transparent amber, off-sided weak head. Hoppy nose, nicely fresh hop buds, resin, and grapefruit. Hoppy fresh flavors as well with a bitter lasting finish. Decent IPA. WeeHeavySD (3398) - Portland, Oregon, USA - DEC 22, 2009

On tap at the SD strong ale fest 09. Amber pour, foamy white head. Citrus zest, caramel, light bready malt, fruit, grapefruit, and floral hops. Fresh and balanced IIPA. Snojerk321 (2984) - San Diego, California, USA - DEC 8, 2009
Tap @ Pizza Port Strong Ale fest 2009. Pours a glowing rusty orange color with a frothy off white head about 2 fingers thick. Nose held a good amount of caramel with some floral and citrus hops. Flavor was quite sweet with some wet citrus hops and a bitter sweet finish. I bet in about a year this would be a good barley wine....... beerguy101 (5364) - Newark, California, USA - DEC 8, 2009
Tasted at the 13th Annual Strong Ale Fest on 12/5/2009. I am assuming the Knuckle Buster and Knuckle Sandwich are the same beer. This Imperial IPA pours a med orange gold color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head with nice lacing. The aroma is fruity and sweet with some floral hops. A medium bodied Imperial IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy and floral. A medium bitterness IPA. Lots of orange and orange peel, but not a lot of malt. Decent carbonation. The mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. wetherel (1905) - Cupertino, California, USA - DEC 6, 2009

On draft at Pizza Port Strong Ale Festival 2009. The list from the festival called this beer "Knucklebuster". Not sure which one is correct. Poured a golden color with nice head. Aroma was very floral and fruity (amazing). Taste was very hoppy yet sweet with a bitter finish. Smooth medium pallet. Overall very good double IPA. I was impressed with this one.
