Hazy deep amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry. Decent carbonation. Creamy malts. light but sweetish. Good hops - crisp orange and smooth pine. A little resin. Smooth spicy sweet finish. Sound and drinkable.
Draft at the brewery taproom. Pours clear, rich gold with a creamy, off-white head. Lots of fairly dank hops in the aroma, some melon, grapefruit. Medium sweet falvour with loads more dank hop character, big on the melon, oily pine, grapefruit, some sweet pale bread. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Moderately sweet and resinous on the finish, with mellow pine spice, sticky melon and papaya, more grapefruit. Very tasty. Quite rich, but still highly drinkable. mcberko (19222) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 24, 2013
22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy orange amber with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out big time caramel malts, syrupy notes, and some resinous hops. Flavour is very much on the sweeter side, bringing out loads of caramel, red fruits, and loads of resinous hops. Not overly bitter or one-sided in the hops. Usually I’m not a big fan of such sweet IPAs, but this is wonderfully balanced. Excellent stuff. rlgk (18844) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAY 13, 2014

Bottle. Pours reddish amber with white head. Nose and taste of tree bark, caramel malt, tree sap, resinous pine, dried citrus rind, orange peel and perfumy hops. A bit too perfumy for me. Medium body. Finishes dry resin/tree bark. Benzai (16773) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - FEB 25, 2017
Bottle @ Anti-carnaval Tasting. Clear reddish color, medium sized white to off-white head. Aroma is malts, sticky resinous hops. Taste malts, hops, sticky resinous piney hops, heavy sweet, sweet sticky hops, medium bitter. Medium body and carbonation. A bit too much barley wine-ish, but otherwise decent.
