22oz bottle -
Aroma - sugary in the nose, some spice/clove, nice showing of banana which is amplified by the perceived sweetness
Appearance - hazy gold body, 3" fluffy white head, with impressive retention...nice lacing.
Mouthfeel - light/medium bodied, with soft carbonation...silky
Flavor - lots of cracker and bread up front, some sweetness mid-palate that brings out the banana flavors. Banana and bread...with a little caramel. Nice.
Overall - If this were in a blind tasting, it would be hard pressed to tell it wasn’t made in Germany. A really nice attempt, solidly produced and priced right. bhensonb (15188) - Woodland, California, USA - SEP 21, 2014
Bomber from Hi-Time. Pours brassy gold with a fine white head. LIght aroma of banana ester. Med body, nearly. Flavor: Something gone wrong here. It’s lightly phenolic, the banana is barely detectable. It seems to be a rather unremarkable wheat beer, and there’s not a lot of hop. Drinkable, but not really something I’d repeat. Nose is bitter orange, light spice, clove, nana, wheatn bread.
Taste comprises straw, bitter orange, light spice, earthy, slightly soured fruit tones, yeast esters, bread dough.

Ok hefe, more of the bitter orange/tangy fruit variety than the noffee pie type. Leighton (21232) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 14, 2014
Draft at the brewery taproom - Fullerton. Pours lightly hazy gold with a foamy, white head. Sugary wheat in the nose, light yeast and ripe citrus. Medium sweet with bread, orange, banana, light hay and cereal. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish with modest wheat bread, yeast, mellow fruits. Easy. Bottle from Pizza Port Bottle Shop (Carlsbad) Pours orange with very little head. Doesn’t leave much lacing either. A slight banana thing on the nose. Astringent on the tongue, it dries out the mouth to a ridiculous degree. Jeez! Can’t anyone in this state make a decent hefe?
