The body of this exhibits the traits of thick, dense pumpkin flesh. Syrupy molasses and mountains of brown sugar attack the tongue. The nose is straight Allspice, with nutmeg and cinnamon permeating nicely. One of the better veggie brews, but nowhere near the menacing brilliance of Kern River’s pumpkin ale. Still, this Bootlegger’s release snorts and stomps with its hard barked flavor.

Tasted at the 2017 Great American Beer Festival in Denver, Colorado. Good flavors, close to style, as expected without too many surprises.

Bomber split last night with the wife. Pours orange amber, minimal head, but what was there was off white in hue. Some cinnamon, molassis. Slightly sweet. Medium body. Abrupt finish. Okay but instantly forgetable.

another decent pumpkin ale heavier on ginger and brown sugar. medium bodied. Falls a little flat compared to the better ones but does nothing wrong.

A: Hazy Amber/Orange Hue, Passes Some Light, Thick White Head, Great Lacing S: Dirty Yams T: Yams, Sweet Potatoes M: Great Carbonation, Medium Bodied, Mildly Sweet Overall, nice natural pumpkin-esque flavor but not much else, pretty straight forward

3.3
Ibrew2or3 (8828) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - JAN 6, 2013
Bomber pours clear copper with a tan colored head of foam. The aroma offers up a bit of pumpkin and brown sugar and maybe some floral hop notes off in the background. The taste has lots of malts and brown sugar sweetened pumpkin as well as a light amount of vague sort of winter spices.
