A clear amber colored beer, with a light beige head. The aroma of red fruits with hop notes. The taste is sweet fruity with some caramel and hop bitter. The aftertaste is sweet with hop bitter. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - AUG 6, 2012
Deep red color with an offwhite head. Aroma of caramel malt, a bit of fruity esthers, light hops. Flavor is caramel malt up front followed by some crackery notes and finishes somewhat bitter. bs476 (80) - - JUL 22, 2012
Nothing too special here except loooong finish. Solid mouthfeel but not hitting me over the head with complexity.

Pours hazy amber with a small white head. Crisp hoppy and fruity. Bitter and smooth fruity, toasted malty. Ends bitter and crisp hoppy into the finish. corby112 (2804) - philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 26, 2012
Draft at the brewery.
Pours a hazy, golden apricot color with a half finger white head that immediately settles into a thin ring. Minimal spots of lace.
Earthy hop aroma with lots of malt sweetness. Hints of caramel, toffee, hazelnut and subtle fruit countered by floral, piney hops.
Medium bodied with a blast of dry, bitter hops that linger over the sweeter malt notes into a dry finish. Much hoppier than the nose suggests with lots of dank pine needle flavor that’s countered by caramel, toffee, nut and light fruit. Finishes dry. A bit thin but easy to drink and flavorful. 14 oct 2011, tap at the brewery. Very light nutty brown w no bubbles. Really strong grapefruit hops. Not thing like I expected. Sweet candied grapefruit w bitter finish. Gorgeous! Hophead22 (2879) - Redlands, by way of Wisconsin,, California, USA - JUL 16, 2011
Tap at the brewery. Rating #6. Great looking beer, slight haze and it was a beautiful dark red color. Nice aroma, nice bit of hops with a nice light toasty sweetness. Flavor was similar, good bit if hops balanced by a nice maltiness that made it real drinkable, good stuff. (1799) JohnC (3008) - Mission Viejo, California, USA - JUN 6, 2011
I had this on tap at The Pint House in Fullerton.
It’s an amber colored pour with an off white head. The flavor has a very good balance of hops and malt. Very tasty and drinkable.
