3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at the brewery taproom. Noted at 6% abv. Pours clearish yellow-gold with a creamy, white head. The nose holds tropical fruits, pithy citrus, spicy pine needles, a little perfume. Medium sweet flavour with lots of pithy citrus, grapefruit, tangerine, pine needles, honeysuckle, pale bread. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly resinous on the finish, with fairly clean pale malt sugars, some further grapefruit and lightly bitter pine needles. Very drinkable. Solid.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap @ Bootleggers. Glad this made a comeback since I never got to try it before. Golden orange pour with a small white head. Lots of grapefruit and orange hop aromas. Nice pine, some sweet bread, and maybe a bit of lemon peel. A bit sweet up front, but a nice bitterness on the back end. Good grapefruit, lemon peel, orange, and pine notes. A touch of peach, as well.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
23 nov 2012, tap at the brewery. Gold, clear, some bubbles. Nose is soft grapefruit rind and milt straw malt. Thin body and mildly fizzy. Crisp, slightly biting, oily lemon rind hops. But actually a very sessionable, easy drinking pale ale. Nice.
