3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Clear dark amber with a thick aroma of sticky resinous cascade hops (pine resin and fresh cut flowers) and a boozy caramel backbone. The taste is nowhere near as thick and boozy as the aroma, but is great all the same, balanced and light with caramel and sticky pine resin hops with a light floral/grapefruity bitterness. A little too light and perhaps a bit more bitter than it should be.

On tap at Bootstap poured a clear reddish amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of carmel, earthiness and light fruittiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of carmel earthiness and light citrus with a crisp lingering earthy finish.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Taster/sampler at Brewers Rendezvous. Pours a minimal off white head, over a hazy amber (SRM 8) body.....nose is sweet malts, cereal......taste is slightly sweet malt, biscuit.....mouth feel medium, carbonation adds a tingle to the flavors. This meets the style nicely. It is not particularly interesting, but is a pleasant session beer. BJCP 6/3/12/4/6
