Tap at Falling Rock. Pours clear dark amber with medium, fizzy light tan head, medium retention with light lacing. Aroma is dark fruity esters, brown sugar, syrup, floral and citrus hops with cookie and caramel malt. Flavor is malt forward with medium hops and bitterness with heavy sugar and a sweet finish. Tap. Pours dark reddish brown with average, creamy beige head; decent retention and lacing. Aroma is caramel and cookie malts, strawberries, raisins, floral hops, and dough. Flavor is extremely sweet with heavy berries and dark fruit esters along with sweet malt and floral notes; sweet finish to match the rest of the flavor. Drank in Denver for GABF 2012. Imperial Amber Ale. Pours a clear amber color with a small white head. A big sugary sweet nose with some light fruit. A sweet flavor also sugary with citrus, no bitterness. Enjoyable. Very sweet.
