Bottle from Peluso. Pours yellow/cream. Opaque. Really pale. Fizzy white head. Aroma is typical witbier. Taste-wise, it’s initially citrus and witbier, with the lavander kicking roughly around mid-taste. Some astringency. Underhoped for Wit’s standards. A bit too much fizz. A decent take on the witbier with some lavender thrown in. Could use a bit more body.

Thanks to cfrancis for this one. Pours a cloudy golden yellow with a white head. Aroma of spicy yeast, flowery esthers and spices. Taste is crisp spicy yeast, peppery with flower/herbal characteristics and a slight bitterness on the finish.

Bouteille 500 ml. 5%. Couleurjaune voilée, mousse blanche. Arôme de levure fruits. En bouche épices, un peu de fruits, douce. Finale sans histoire, lavande substile. Bonne

500 ml bottle. Pours a foggy whitish yellow with a thick, resilient white head. Smell is fruity and spicy, along with some yeast. Taste is fruity (pear, mango), peppery and spicy (lavender). Some yeast notes, bread. Light herbal hopping. Light to medium bodied, good carbonation level. Very beautiful, tasty, refreshing ale.

Bottle 500ml. Pours hazy blond/white with good white head. Aroma is of lavender, citrus, flowers. Taste is lavender, citrus, wheat. Overall: Refreshing. Maybe a little too heavy on lavender/flowers features. Other than that, fairly decent witbier.

dandeman (1103) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 29, 2012
Aroma: Meat, spices and lavender. Appearance: Hazy dark straw color, frothy small head, mostly lasting with no lacing. Taste: Attack is sparkling with a slight acidity. Notes of flowers and herbs and a lot of lavender. Little acid but refreshing.

Hazy blond, thin head. The aroma has a lot of lavender and some wheat, and yeastiness too. Spicy and with lots of lavender on the palate. Good balance and fresh-tasting.

Beershine (5253) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 6, 2012
Draft at mondial. Milky pale yellow. Stable head. The lavender is subtle and becomes blended nicely with the yeast esters and lactic sweetness. Palate is light, lively, and milky. The malt is nutty and firm but light. Refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
