750 ml bottle. Dark golden body with a fast disappearing off-white head. Aroma is cider apples, apple core and wood. Flavor is both sweet and sour, like fruity acidic apple. Also ripe apples and wood. Not really complex but easy to drink with a nice and real apple flavor. ClubGonzo (5668) - Bergen, NORWAY - AUG 2, 2010
Ok, taking a break from the low alcohol ratings now to rate a French sider. A natural follow-up, donít you think? No? :-P Oh well, this one pours a clear, golden body with a fainting white cider-style retention. Aroma is wood, fermented apples and hints of something astringent I canít put my finger on. Taste is oak, yellow apples and hints of citric flavors. Medium carbonation on palate. Flavorful despite the low ABV, although perhaps a tad bit sweet from as you drink along. Funnily, ciders are very hard to balance in the ways of sweetness, in my experience. So far, Iíve only found a few that makes this feat with some conviction. Mellow and nice, the Bordelet Sydre Brut Tendre ainít such a bad cider at all. Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUL 11, 2010
Itís unclear, dark orange and the aroma has notes of apple, apple peal and oven-baked apple. The flavour has a light sweetness and a nice dryness, a light apple sourness and notes of apple, apple peal, wood, and the finish is dry and slightly apple sour. Itís very nice and refreshing. larsga (7508) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 12, 2010
Small offwhite head doesnít last. Deep yellow body with carbonation. Sharp green apple and wood aroma with sulphury notes. Sweet-astringent fresh apple taste with wooden sulphury notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, fresh mouthfeel. Empty dryish faintly alcoholic aftertaste. Quite nice, and fairly drinkable. (0.75l bottle shared by gr0ve.) Sigmund (7390) - Tau, NORWAY - JUN 10, 2010
750 ml "champagne" bottle, as Eric Bordelet Sidre Brut Tendre, from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 5%. Golden colour, pours very fizzy with a big but short-lived head. The aroma has notes of oxidised cider apples and sulphur, hints of smoke. The flavour is medium sweet (or medium dry, if you like), notes of cider apples again (of course), hints of sulphur. Easy drinking.

Bottle, 4%. Citric aroma, sweet apple notes. Clear dark golden colour. The flavour has the usual sweet apple notes that is common in French cider. Sweet but pleasant. oh6gdx (26482) - Vasa, FINLAND - APR 14, 2010
Bottled (2007 vintage). Hazy deep goldeny orange colour with no head. Aroma is green apples, some wood as well as earthy and herbal. Flavour is quite muh the same with some slight acidicness and some slight strange sweetish notes lurking in the background. trapez (1563) - Hilleroed, DENMARK - DEC 20, 2009
Bottle. Wood, smoke and yeast in aroma. Golden yellow colour. Sweet apple flavour with an intense dry wooden finish. Moderate carbonation. Enjoyable.
