Dry and light. I suppose you either love or hate this, but it's well-made and in a distinct category. Apples, pear, dry leaves and almonds.

75cl bottle. Clear golden yellow with a medium white head. Poor retention. Apples, cheese and wood.

Bottle (750 ml), shared with family. Hazy orange with a small white head and not much lacing. Aroma is of apples, caramel notes, mild spiciness, light alcohol and hints of funk. Taste is of apple and caramel (but not caramelized apples) with mild spiciness, alcohol notes and moderate funk. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Red apples finish. The Brut tendre was lighter, easier to drink and had a more prominent funk so it was better than this one. It’s not bad, but it’s not something I think I will buy again either as there’s nothing that really stands out.

Le plus tendu et le plus sec des 3, avec de beaux amers et une bouche droite et nette. Un cidre de repas.

Sample at SBWF 2016. Light fruity smell. Light taste, fruity with apples. Dry finish.

madvike (3293) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 19, 2015
Bottle - Pours clear deep gold with a ring of white head that’s quickly gone. Nose is dry apple, with a bit of oak and funk. A touch of sweetness, but this is mostly dry. Taste is dry apple, white grape, and a mineral, dry apple skin finish. Real wine-like. Medium-thin with medium carbonation.

danlo (3189) - Darlington, Durham, ENGLAND - FEB 15, 2015
750ml bottle. 5.5%. Clear deep yellow gold colour, short-lived white foam head and aroma of apple, apple skin, vanilla, slight barnyard. Taste is fresh apple, apple skin, vanilla, butterscotch, white wine, sourish with dry tannins. Spritzy mouthfeel, light bodied, well carbonated, very dry tart tannic peppery finish. Nicely drinkable.

deep golden colour. aroma is lots of apples, applesauce, bit of old cheese. taste is lots of apples, some wood notes and slight apple acidity for a perfect balance. dense and slick oily mouthfeel, rather soft carbonation. impressive for the low abv, the bottle read 3,5%. bottle 75cl / thanks a lot rood!

This is the best cider i’ve tasted ever. The aroma is hay, sweet candy apple. The taste is apple, jasmine, flowery notes, sugar, and woody notes. The beauty of this cider lies in his balance. It is marvellous how this cider goes from apple to woody notes. It is one of the best things I’ve tasted in my life. The beauty of balance. Bordelet for King!
