2015-08-03. Hazy orange amber body, small frothy off-white head. 3+ Aroma is relatively mild, moderate fruity hops and green hop notes. 6+ Flavour is moderately bitter throughout, decent green hops and moderate fruit notes, relatively malty base has notes of caramel malt. Smooth average plus bodied palate, good carbonation. Okay, better than expected actually. Can from IGA, Montreal.

DuffMan (10451) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 18, 2017
Drank from the bottle in Montreal airport. I’m going to give it the benefit of doubt for appearance! Malt forward, but also very sweet. Citrus hop character with notes of tea and marmalade. Assertive long bitter finish.

[ Keg ][ 8oz ][ Patati Patata ][ $3.25][ Small Flute ][ 5/27/14 ]
>> Much smaller volume than expected, paired with poutine. Clear orange, nice cream mousse. Nose is slightly sticky, orange candies. Taste is dusty, salty, papery. Eh, should have gone for the blonde.

JoeMcPhee (9427) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 23, 2014
Deep amber pour. The nose is quite fruity and orangey. Some nice soft clean malt (but not crystal). A bit of bitter orange and light pine. The nose has a bit more character than does the flavour but it’s pretty decent nonetheless. A soft bitterness and a touch of minerally character. Dry finish.

mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 5, 2015
[7447-20150803] Tall can. Fresh evergreen citrus juice aroma. Hazy, orange body with a medium-lasting foamy off-white head. Bitter buttery light evergreen hops and citrus lemon peel flavour. Medium body. Good, simple. (8/3/7/3/15) 3.6

czar (9172) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - APR 24, 2012
on tap at ninkasi, qc. relatively clear medium dark golden with a frothy off-white-orange head, very good retention and lacing. american hops, strawberry-like, fruity citrus, lightly toasted malts, toasted wheat. medium to full body, almost aggressive carbonation, short to medium long grapefruity finish. best offering i’ve had from them.

solidfunk (9018) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - SEP 10, 2013
Malt forward IPA that’s actually fairly decent. A surprise for these guys. Pours translucent orange without much head or lacing. Strong barley smell with light hops - more along the English IPA tradition than otherwise. Average carbonation. On tap.

(Rating #4505)
