Skinnyviking (9243) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 16, 2017
33 cl. bottle at home. High and long lasting fluffy brown head. Very dark, almost black, red brown body. Solid roasted malt coffee cocoa aroma. Coffee dominated, a bit acidic in fact, roasted malt liquorice flavor with a fair amount of hops bitterness and a long bitter sweet finish. The alcohol level seems just right.

(33 cl bottle from Fiskur, WestMarket; No visible BBD but three(!) caps adorned this bottle) Poured at fridge temperature into a Pőhjala teku reveals a dark brown almost black body with three fingers of tan head. Good retention. Aroma has notes of roasted malt with a hint of dust. Oily texture, medium to light body, soft carbonation and a dark roasted finish that doesn’t get too bitter or ascerbic. Very easily drinkable but perhaps a bit on the light side although it is flavourful.
