The same elements that inspire this rich, intense, bold and swirlingly varied Icelandic stout. Bottle shared for Floris’s Leaving Beers at Gekke Geit. Black with a small beige head. Aroma of licorice, dark chocolate, malt, coffee, caramel and toffee. Flavour is light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle shared at Floris’s leaving tasting. Black with medium tan head. Big sweet deep roasted chocolate malts. Light fruity and clean roasted. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body, soft slick clean feel and soft carbonation. Nice.

33 cl bottle from Vinbudin. Label says 2016 "vintage". Pitch black with a thin tanned head. Sweet, roasted aroma with coffee, chocolate and caramel malts. Liquorice and ashes. Subtle booze. Taste is light bitter and roasted. Full body with an oliy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes drying and roasted bitter with coffee and liquorice. Fine, textbook Imp. Stout.
