Eructoblaster (4413) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 10, 2017
On tap at L'Autre Oeil (Gatineau, Qc). Pours an opaque black body with an average, lasting, off-white creamy head. Rich malty/hoppy aroma with cognac and woody hints. Alcohol is not too agressive. Its surprisingly smooth malty/hoppy taste carries cognac, woody, and honeyish notes. Ends with a long, warming bittersweet finish. Very enjoyable winter warmer.

Draught @ Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2017 - Red Session

Pours dark brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, dried fruits, chocolate and alcohol. Taste is heavy sweet and light bitter with a long warm, dried fruity and caramel finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Turtles (3016) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 13, 2017
330ml bottle from Systembolaget. Dark chestnut brown, looks clear, some particles floating around in the glass. Small tanned head, poor lacing. Sweet aroma with dried fruits and caramel, but some disturbing glue and plastic notes kind of ruin it. Same thing in the taste, off notes that takes over too much, nail polish and glue. You get the taste of dried fruits, cognac and toffee so it’s not totally undeinkable but It’s still a drain pour for me. Don’t got time for bad brews.

SvanteL (645) - SWEDEN - JUN 25, 2017

chrisv10 (18601) - DENMARK - JUN 25, 2017
MBCC. Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is malt, dark fruit, yeast, caramel and plume. Flavour is malt, dark fruit, yeast, plum, sweet, warming, little sugar, little candy and notes of alcohol.

TEJA (3299) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUN 21, 2017
Bottle from systembolaget Sweden. Big and lasting brown head. Clear solid dark color. An not so nice almond and fruity aroma resembling paper glue from younger years. Semi dry with caramell taste and clear present alcohol. Not a particular good quadrupel.

murran (691) - - JUN 9, 2017
Pours a dark body with a thin beige head. Aroma is rich of malty tones and some wood. Taste is rich and complex with malty tones like sugars and dried fruit. The balance is a bit off which makes the taste a bit rough.

Rune (13659) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUN 7, 2017
Draught at MBCC. Red Session. Coal black body, spotty lacing from a low tan-coloured head. Chocolate and dark fruity aromas. Spiced chocolate flavours added by caramel malts and dark fruits. Hints of pine needless towards the ending. Full bodied. Pleasing sipper. (Copenhagen 13.05.2017).
