33 cl bottle at Kaffihús Vesturbær. Pitch black with a thin, tanned head. Sweet roasted aroma with coffee, chocolate, dark malts, liquorice, red berries. Taste is light bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and roasted bitter with coffee and dark malts. Fine Porter, smooth and coffee is well balanced.

tanel025 (236) - ESTONIA - JUL 1, 2017
Brown liquid with beige head. Aroma is roasted malts. Taste is roasty, rather dry, medium bitter. Some coffee and cocoa notes in it, some alcohol, but mostly still roasted malts. Very boring porter. Below average. Drinkable though.

3.8
kramer (6908) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 25, 2017
Pours a dark brown body with a nice one finger foamy brown head. The nose is pretty solid, chocolate malt with a light smokiness and a little burnt malt, a light hint of leafy hops. The flavor is just as solid, probably the best Iceland beer I had on my trip. Chocolaty and roasty, just a slight sweetness up front, light bitterness on the finish. Medium bodied with light fizzy carbonation. Good stuff.
