Dashimus (248) - London, Greater London, - MAY 25, 2013
Draft at Grillmarkadurinn Restaurant, Reykjavík. Pours a moderately hazy yellow golden with a generous white head that is persistent. Aroma is interesting, floral, spicy and herby. Struggling to be more exact than that. Spice is obvious on the tongue. Flavour is very dry and long in the finish. Medium bodied with minimal carbonation.

labeerinthum (860) - Milano, ITALY - MAY 30, 2017
Bottiglia.

kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 25, 2017
Slightly hazy yellow gold body with a small fizzy white head. The nose is pale bready malt with a little fruitiness and citrusy spice. The flavor is much the same, light fruitiness, a little yeast, pale malt. Some lingering spice. Light to medium bodied with some yeastiness and soft fizzy carbonation. Ok beer, not all that exciting.

solidfunk (8943) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - APR 22, 2017
Florals and some thyme. A bit of a moss like aroma like the lava rocjs in the island’s south. Hazy golden pour with decent head. Lighr sweet finish. Decent. Tap at microbar.

adamnowek (2709) - Brussels, BELGIUM - MAR 27, 2017
Slightly opaque yellow appearance. Basically no head. Aroma is interesting: quite herbal (mostly thyme and a bit of mint) with lemon and moss. Taste is citrus, thyme, and ginger. Juicy texture.

Skinnyviking (9570) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 15, 2017
33 cl. bottle at home. High creamy lasting white head. Clear yellow golden body with a lot of bubbles. Sweet thyme dominated aroma with cardboard notes. Pretty hoppy herbal flavor mainly thyme. Low carbonation, long sweet finish. Different and quite refreshing.

ClarkVV (6708) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - DEC 26, 2016
Bottled November 4, 2016, drunk 11/28/16.
Good clarity in this brassy-to-light cola-tinged amber body. Beige head fades quickly to cover. Some light sediment left behind in the bottle; that’s encouraging.
Light pepper and rosemary-like notes in the nose are quite enjoyable. I think it’s what, ginger and an herb from Iceland? The malt in the background adds light honey, brown bread and all-around sweetness but doesn’t go too far, nor does the herbal character overpower. Clean, though with some astringency and strong grassiness and, perhaps, a hint of soapiness. No alcohol or brewing flaw, though.
Spicy, but with ample amber malt-like character adding honey-bread and light vanilla sweetness to easily balance the spice. There’s a bit too much spicy, lightly astringent herbal character, very grassy and lightly bitter, but for how fresh this is, it’s sufficiently balanced, while the natural carbonation, unfiltered, malty mouthfeel and lack of flaw go a long way towards making up for any slight abundance of spicing.

Tim Webb (443) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - OCT 3, 2016
On draught at Kevlavik airport’s beautiful, understated transit lounge on route from Bristol to Toronto. Indistinctly pungent, slightly spiced maybe wheaty blond ale that does ’different’ rather more keenly than it does ’good’.
